About the Artist

My artistic journey begins

Born in York, North Yorkshire, my early life was filled with the discipline of competing in swimming and field hockey. It was during high school, when I chose art as a GSCE subject, that my true passion began to emerge. While still enthused about competing in swimming and field hockey, my interest deepened through college, eventually leading me to pursue a Bachelor's degree (with honours) in university, solidifying my path as an artist.

The essence of minimalistic art

What makes my art distinctive is its minimalistic approach, heavily inspired by artists like Julian Opie. I've always been fascinated by how the core foundations of a subject can still create powerful and evocative imagery. My work aims to strip away the unnecessary, focusing on essential lines and forms to convey meaning and emotion.

Connecting through creativity

It's important for me to share my art with the world, not just with those I already know. I hope to broaden my audience, allowing people from all walks of life to see my creative process and the final outcomes. My aspiration is to inspire connections and evoke reactions, sparking conversations and new perspectives through my work.
